GOOD UNDERSTANDING
You must have good understanding of what you are looking for and where you are heading to. Until you know where you are going ,anywhere can look like the place to you.
Mean while, you cannot even know what it takes to arrive there. Good understanding delivers the right compass to you, which makes you arrive at your destination.
Good understanding of what success means will give you a sense of focus and direction. You will know that you don't need to be doing many other things that are not necessary.

Good success in learning is not ordinary. It commands honour and dignity. So it requires your focus and undivided attention for you to get it, else you prepare to settle on the floor.

GOOD PLANNING
you also require good planning to overcome distractions on your way to success. Planning is a step by step approach towards the accomplishment of your task. So you must plan towards achieving your target in life. This will help you to avoid distraction since you already know the steps to take.

Lack of planning results in doing whatever you feel like, and that is not the way to success. Plan your time effectively and adhere strictly to it. Your quality of planning, determines the quality of your results. Planning helps you to eliminate distraction, stress and confusion. Planning entails priority setting . It helps you to do the right at the right time.

You read when you are to read, you sleep when you are to sleep, wake when you are to wake. If you things anyhow and anytime, you will get anyhow, average or poor results. So you need to always design a programme of action, in order to achieve your definite success in life.

YOU MUST DETERMINE WHAT IS TO BE DONE AND HOW IT IS TO BE DONE...

GOOD COMPANY
if you want to maintain focus , you need good company, your friends determine your end. The people you walk with determine where you sit tomorrow. So keep a good company. Relate with those that are going your direction. If you select those that are going in the opposite direction, those that are not interested in success, you will end up on the floor.

So friend, maintain your focus, don't be distracted. What you aim at with the whole of energy, you will definitely achieve. Let eyes be single and you will see yourself flying to the top in your pursuit in life.

ENEMIES OF NIGHT SEASON

A student who loves sleeping is already a candidate for failure .sleep is good but if you make it a habit you will not achieve academic success. From experience the best time to read is when everywhere is cool and quiet. This is the night season. But students of these days no longer make good use of the night season to read you cannot emerge as an academic high flyer until you burn the mid night candle.

As a student, you have to control the way you sleep if you don't want academic success to slip out of your hands. Have you ever tried holding something in your hand and sleeping at the same time? You will notice that when you wake up, you will see the object on the floor. This is what happens to students who loves sleep. " sleepy eyes are always slippery hands.

These days you hear students saying things like " I don't like reading at night ", I can't sacrifice my sleep etc. Those ones are already courting failures or at most ordinary pass. But if the top is your desire as a student, you must make use of the night season.

Give not sleep to thine eyes, or slumber to thine eyelids, how long will thou sleep, o sluggard? When Wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?
Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep, so shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy wants as an armed man " proverb 6:4.9-11.

So discipline your sleep. If you want to make good use of the night, endeavour to have at least one hour siesta in the afternoon.
You don't need to read throughout the night. You can just make use of 2 to 3 hours and make sure you get something. Make it a habit you will see it become part of you. When you are reading in the night avoid anything that will distract your attention. Please start today to make use of the night season and you will not regret it...

RELATIONSHIPS AND IT'S EFFECT ON STUDENTS

This is an area of life that has robbed many of their academic future. Relationship talks about your friends. Friendship has robbed many of their academic destinies. It is often said that " your friends determine your end in life"
The scripture state that " he that walks with the wise shall be wise but a companion of fools shall be destroyed " . Proverb 13:20

So it follows that when you walk with unserious students who don't know where they are going, they will influence you and you will begin to behave like them.
There is a saying " show me your friend and I will tell you who you are ". And proverb 27:17 says " iron sharpeneth iron, so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friends "

The less you associate with people, the more your life will improve. This means that you become like this with whom you closely associate - for good and the bad. An important attributes of academic high flyer is their impatience with unserious and failure minded people.

If you run with wolves you will learn how to howl. But if you associate with eagles, you will learn how to soar to great heights. Decide today to associate with only those that will motivate you towards achieving your academic target. Friendship is not by force but by choice .i decided long time ago that nobody will chooses me as a friend, I'm the one to choose my friends. And I only chose quality people not mediocrities.

Friend any time you tolerate mediocrity in others, it increases your mediocrity. Your prayer each day should be for God to deliver you from people who are lazy and unserious with their education but to grant you the companionship of those who are diligent and passionate about getting to the top. Please note that friendship is not just for association or socialisation but for the realization of your destination.

Understand what I Am saying. I am not asking you to hate people. After all God commanded us to love everybody. All I'm saying is don't stick to everybody. Stick to correct people that will help you ascend your academic throne. In choosing your friends, the quantity is not important but the quality. This is because, a thousand good friend is not enough but one bad friend is too much. Negative influences have greater power of pulling people down where positive influences pull people up.

So to emerge as a highflier, you must be prepared to establish boundaries for yourself, in the area of time, sleep, appetite and relationship ,and you will see yourself emerge an academic star. You need not to choose indiscipline but only fail to choose discipline and you drift fast enough towards indiscipline. Discipline is the capital price you must pay to earn distinction tomorrow. You will not fail...

FOCUS YOUR BEARING TO THE TOP

If your eye be single, your body will be full of light. Matthew 6:22

This is exactly what focus means and what it delivers to any man that engages it. Focus means to concentrate on something with everything within you ,so as to hit your target. It is directing your energy to a task. A lot of people don't do well in life today due to lack of focus. They are pursuing many things at the same time. Some are distracted by football, some acting etc. This divide attention results in nothing but poor results .

Friend , you can only do more by doing less. Excellence in life cannot be attained doing many things at the same time. One of my personal secret in blogging is focus. You cannot see me doing too many things at the same time . I concentrate all my energy at a particular thing and get the desired results. Unless you are not interested in excellence but if you are aiming at excellence in life, you need to be focused. Don't be a jack of all trade and a master of none. If you want to be a master in education, concentrate. Don't be in the field training in football, when you are supposed to be in the class.
Apostle Paul said

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus ". Philippians 3:14
He said towards the mark not marks so why must you pursue many things and still believe you will be a master in them.

Lack of focus is the reason for confusion and fear which leads to failure. There is an adage " if you chase two rabbits, both of them will escape.

John Mason said " I believe you will only find happiness when you are in position of going somewhere wholeheartedly, in one direction without regrets or reservation. The more complicated you are, the more ineffective you will become.

When you are not focused, distraction sets in and you cannot arrive successfully at your destination with it. It is an enemy to success, so you must deal with it squarely .
A wise man said " there are two many people, In two many cars, in two much of hurry, going to many directions, to get nowhere for nothing. "

PRINCIPLES OF SUCCESS 3

Courage means the ability to control fear when facing danger, pain, opposition etc. Courage means bravery, fearlessness and gallantry. Courage is a wing required to take off and remain up . God recommended it to Joshua in Joshua 1 : 6,7,9.

" Be strong and of a good courage, for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I swear unto their fathers to give them. Only be thou strong and very courageous that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee, turn not from it to the right hand or the left, that thou mayest prosper whither so ever thou goest. Have not I commanded thee? Be Strong and of a good courage, be not afraid neither be thou dismayed, for the lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."

So you need courage to conquer the ground. You need courage t take steps toward your excellence in life. You cannot go far in life without courage. Success is not for the jelly- hearted or the fearful but for the courageous.
Friend, the truth is that success is not an easy task. It is not just given to any man. You must fight for it and it is only with courage you fight with and win.

David ascended the throne with courage. He looked at Goliath and disdained him, not minding that he was a giant . He ended up killing him and that took him to the top.
Do you know you can be the next celebrated hero of our time? You can be the next celebrated legend of our generation. All you need is to conquer fear, and you will see yourself in the air.

Look at Esther in the Bible, she only became a success when she said if I perish, I perish. Never let fear hold you back from pursuing your goals in life....

Determination is the quality of being firmly committed to doing something. It is making up your mind to do a particular thing. Lack of determination is the reason for stagnation in life. A person that must fly : needs to be determined to succeed. Determination places in your hand the responsibility to make it. It is determination that conquers procrastination. Procrastination is a natural killer of success.
This is because, what you put off till tomorrow, you will probably put off Tomorrow. So make up your mind to do a particular thing ensures your success.

Make up your mind today to be successful in all your endeavour in life by doing what others find too hard to do. You cannot be determined and not be distinguished in your world. Determine today to break that relationship that is trying to take you downward in your pursuit in life. If you are not determined to fly today, you will be disgraced tomorrow. So make your decision now...

Believing in yourself is a wing everybody
must develop passionately. This is because, until you believe in yourself , you may not accomplish anything in life. Many don't take steps today because they don't believe in themselves. Believing in your ability, believing that you can make a strong in life. You are not a failure or a dull brain . You have been created by God as a pacesetter, an envy, so why devalue yourself. The truth is that God has stored so much wisdom in you that will make an envy in busy world. But here is the truth also, " your future depends on many things, but mostly on you " .This is why Louis XIV, " there is little that can withstand a man who can conquer himself.

So friend , you will not fly until you believe in yourself. Believe that you will understand what ever thing you encounter with, believe that you cannot fail in life . Don't allow people's opinion about you to make you doubt your ability. That you fail in a particular course in life. Believe that you will come out victorious. A wise man said, " you may succeed if you don't believe in yourself no matter the multitudes that believe in you ". Even the scriptures says " as a man thinketh in his heart, so he is proverb 23:7 . So your mental picture about your self determines your actual future. Make up your mind today that you are created by God a success and he package in you everything required to succeed . Have a good self image about yourself, for it is your self that set the limit to your accomplishments.

Gideon in the Bible did not know what God has put inside of him and he was hiding from the enemies until an angel reminded him by calling him " mighty man of valour " . But the angel told him to go and save his people in his might. He went and conquered ( judges 6:11-14).
So you too can conquer the ground and take off by believing in yourself....

TIPS TO BECOME ACADEMIC FLYER 2

It is quite a pity that many people wish themselves failure these days without knowing it. But ordinarily there is nobody that likes to fail any exams. Everyone cherishes success and amazing results. But, friend your attitude shows whether you truly wish yourself success or failure. The attitude of some students already mark them out for failures even though they don't verbalise it.

Friend , academic success opens you up to other successes in life. If you don't give it the right approach it requires, you end up harvesting the reproach it's abuse produces. It will will interest you to know that God is interested In your success. Jeremiah 29:11 , 3 John 2 .

Friend I will not deceive you, success, even though it's God's will for you will never jump on you. You must consciously prepare for it. So if you must make your way to success, you need to make preparations, Joshua 1:8

TIPS TO BECOME ACADEMIC FLYER

Academic success eludes many because they don't know how to achieve it. Many desire to achieve be successful but they still fail. One question I keep asking is whether the desire has a foundation. Because your desire must have a foundation before you deserve it. The foundation for any desire information.

A student must be exposed to valid information which will definitely convert his desire into commitment to making it.. There is a big difference between interest and commitment.
When you interested in anything. You only do it when it is convenient for you and a wise man said " those who pursue convenience will not taste the height of excellence. " but when you are committed to task. You accept no excuse but quality results.
So this explains why so many students crawl academically while a few fly. Friends there is a space for you in the sky , why struggle on the ground. You need to take off before you are switched - off. What God has package in you is designed to take you to the top in your studies and I believe your eyes will be opened to locate those things..

Information is the baseline for transformation. Until you are informed you remain deformed in your studies. A sage said that it is the validity of the information you have access to that will determine the dignity of your pursuit. So you see that where you are today is a function of what you know. Knowledge is power and power is defined as the ability to cause changes. So knowledge has the capacity of changing your from the ground to the top , from an academic failure to an academic success.

A highflier is a person with the ability to be very successful. He is a pacesetter and an envy. You will agree with me that success is good. It is self - inviting and attractive.
Academic success is the best legacy every individual must wish himself. Failure is frustrating. Writing exams every year and having nothing to show for it is frustrating. Being at the bottom of class is quite frustrating. Seeing others being celebrated and you being tolerated is frustrating. This is why you must refuse to fail.
