THE POWER OF OPTIMISM

Optimism is the tendency to look upon the bright side of things. It is the belief that in the end good will triumph over evil, it can also be described as having confidence in success.
Optimism is the elder brother of opulence. An optimist person is always expecting the best and is also confident. Be an optimist and stop believing in failure. Believe that all things happen for the best because the Bible says that both good and bad happens for the goods of them that loves God. ( Roman 8:28).
Every success oriented work is supposed to be carried out optimistically. An optimist has no dull moment in life, He has no regrets, he always believe that the best is yet to come, that's why he gives no room to regret and limitations.
Dear, success Is not in the University but in the student , you don't need to attend the best in the world neither do you need the highest grade to succeed, what you need is optimism. This is what gives you the capacity to rise again after a particular failure. The Bible says : Do not weary in doing good because in due season you shall reap, if you faint not ( Galatians 6:9) .
Our lord Jesus is an optimistic man, that was what gave him the capacity to despise shame. Shame is associated with death on the cross, it is not death that is befitting of a son of God, but he looked upon the joy that Is set before him ( Hebrew 12:2) .
The world is full of discouragement, frustration, hatred, discomfort, fear, and shame. It takes optimism to work in the midst of all these things and come out in flying colors. Forget about pre-mature enjoyment which is a fore runner to permanent poverty . Remember that it is your ability to endure today that gives you the capacity to enjoy tomorrow. Your ability to work today gives you the capacity to rest tomorrow. God rested on the seventh day after he has finished his work of creation. Each day after he has created a particular things, he will say to himself this things I have created is good? Stop doubting your potentials, stop listening to discouragement unless you want to be frustrated and waste your potential, stop complaining and go to work, the result will take care of itself. Who said you will not succeed? Man, God is saying about the works of your hand is good that's what should give you concern.
See success where others see failure. Expect something good to happen, that expectations will energize your dreams and give them momentum. How we position ourselves to see makes all the difference. You can never see the sunrise by looking to the west. If you look at life the wrong way there is always cause for alarm. The choice is up to you. One of the greatest and most comforting truth is that when one door opens, another closes, but often we look so long and regretfully upon the closed doors that we do not see the one that is open for us.
Don't accept defeat, don't take no for an answer. Rise up and go back to where you failed yesterday, you will succeed. That place where you were despised, go back there, you will be celebrated. Those have commonized you must surely come to identify with you. An optimist is never a common person. It doesn't matter what is happening now what matters is what is going to happen when you are through with your work. Some people complain because, roses have thorns. Instead be thankful that thorn have roses.
The question I want to ask you is: Are you an optimist? If u are not, kneel down now and ask God to give you the power and spirit of optimism. It is a great instrumentality of work..
FACTORS RESPONSIBLE FOR OPTIMISM.
1. VALUE : This simply describes worth of something when compared with something else or when transmuted to its monetary equivalent. It is the quality of being useful or desirable. The quality things possess gives a man the capacity of being optimistic about getting it.
2. RESPONSIBILITY : This means duty that one is accountable for. Every one is accountable for the job / work that is bestowed upon him / her.
3. HOPE : This is the factor that makes one to continue to believe that the best is yet to happen. It believes in the good things that future holds.
4 . PERSISTENCE : This has to do with refusals to fail or discontinued in spite of arguments or opposition. It is persistence that gives one the capacity to live and exist.
